Cookie policy
Updated: 9 October 2026
This policy covers Meddina Online, including its United Kingdom pages and digital menus. Cookies and similar browser storage help provide account access, protect the service, remember preferences and attribute partner referrals.
What we use
Account storage: Supabase stores authentication session information in your browser so you can remain signed in. It is refreshed while your session is active and removed when you sign out or clear site data. Do not share a device without signing out.
Security cookies: our hosting and security providers may set cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. Names and lifetimes are controlled by the provider; for example, Cloudflare may use __cf_bm, normally expiring after 30 minutes.
Language preference: meddina-language in local storage remembers the language you select. It has no automatic expiry and remains until you change it or clear site data.
Partner referrals: after you accept optional cookies, meddina_ref remembers an approved partner code for up to 30 days in the same browser. A newer partner link replaces the previous code. An enquiry code entered by you takes priority. This attributes an eligible enquiry to a partner; it does not change the advertised price. You can clear cookies or enter a code manually instead.
Media and external websites
Meddina-hosted photos and videos do not require an external social-media embed. If you follow a link to a restaurant, operator, social network or payment provider, that provider’s cookie policy applies on its website. Browser speech services may also process information under your device provider’s terms.
Managing your choices
Essential account and security storage stays available. Optional partner referral cookies are disabled until you accept. Your choice is stored in meddina_consent for 180 days. Rejecting optional cookies deletes the referral cookie; manually entered partner codes still work. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer.
Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage for each Meddina domain you visit. Deleting site data can sign you out and reset your language and referral preferences. Blocking account or security storage may prevent sign-in or other requested functions. Settings on one domain or device do not automatically apply to another.
Changes and questions
We will update this policy when storage purposes or providers change. For questions, contact the Meddina team through your account or the contact channel used for your booking or partner application. This policy describes browser storage; it is not a substitute for information about how enquiry and account records are handled.
